It depends on the place you are holding the reception, the church, the amount of people at the reception since it will be about $45.00 per head. If you want a limo you have to pay by the hour. flowers for yourself, boutonniere for the groom and best man, photographer, videographer etc. It depends on the amount of money you want to spend. Maybe about BDOS $8,000 or so. It can be less or more.

The average in the US is around $25k to $30k. But what it costs is dependent upon several things: your location (costs are higher in New York City than Kansas), the number of guests you have, what type of reception you have, and how much you want to spend on other things like flowers, limos, dresses, etc. I'm in a higher priced area, but not quite as pricey as New York, and the best deal I could find for decent food at a typical banquet hall (nothing particularly lavish but it is clean & has good food) was $50 per person before tax and gratuity. There are folks here on YA who have managed a nice dinner reception for under $20 per person. So multiply those rates by 100 guests and my costs are at $5k and someone else's are only $2k - - it can make a HUGE difference if you have alot of guests and are in a pricey area. Also, where you live there may be different norms for what a wedding reception should be. Some people have just cake & punch. Others have 5-course sitdown dinners. Most people fall somewhere in-between.

It all depends, and on various things. The best thing for you to do is contact a wedding planner and have them give you a cost that is right for you.

The link below has a wide range of wedding planners. Just click on them and ask anything you want to. To me that is the ebst option for you, where you can get factual information.

I agree with Bajan Princess' answer. In addition, if you are planning to stay in a hotel, several on the island can arrange the wedding for you on site, including providing the marriage official.
