Here is your answer:
Barbados is the most easterly island in the archipelago of the Caribbean islands located at 13º N Latitude and 59º W Longitude.
Barbados’s total surface area is 431 square km of land, equivalent to 2.5 times the size of Washington DC, with 97 km of coastline and maritime claims of territorial sea of 12 nm in total, reserving an exclusive economic zone of 200 nm.
Unlike most of the other Caribbean islands, Barbados is not volcanic, but predominantly coral based. The island water supply is sourced from underground springs, and is filtered naturally by limestone, and then treated by the local water authority. What this means is that this is one of the few places in the world where there is absolutely no need to boil or filter the water. It can and should be enjoyed directly from the tap.
Due to the nature of its formation, Barbados is a relatively flat island, with its highest point, Mount Hillaby, measuring in at 1,089ft.
Barbados has a tropical sunny climate, with a rainy season running from June to October. Rain is often just quick showers. Weather variations come from prevailing northeast trade winds blowing steadily. On average, daytime temperature range up to 75-85º F, with nights slightly cooler. Tropical rainstorms sometimes occur during the hurricane season, but hurricanes usually avoid Barbados.
Hope it helps.
